Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

This is my first Porsche, and is also the first car I've purchased just for myself since 1986 - this car has emancipated me from long three decades of used Hondas, pickups and minivans!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thorough maintenance records from PO
I found the car via Craigslist and paid $17,600. The tires have +/-20% left and the car needs an alignment, so the seller gave me a discount for these immediate needs. I did not get a PPI - I had one scheduled with a local indy, but when I reviewed the PO's maintenance records I found a one month old receipt from the same indy with a list of needed items (tires, alignment and serp belt). I guess no PPI is a calculated risk, but I'm big on comfort level and I felt very comfortable with the PO and the recent service report. Tires, alignment and serp belt will go on later this week.
The car drives fantastically and I am psyched!
if the car was aligned a month ago, chances are it doesnt need another alignment, that something else is wrong if it 'still needs an alignment'... (unless it wasnt done properly in the first place)
The recent work was engine-related, and the indy noted that an alignment was needed. The last time the car was aligned was in 2012.
A newbie question...my understanding is that the recommended rear tire size is
285
/30ZR18...the current rear tires, however, are
295
/30ZR18. Will the 18" Carrera rear wheels accept both 285 and 295 tire sizes?
is that slate grey? looks like seal grey but since photos taken in sun i could be mistaken?
as long as the alignment is not accident related, new tires and alignment will have that car driving nice and smooth!
enjoy
Congrats and welcome. Find any and all excuses to go out and drive your car; a garage queen is a sad, lonely girl and you wouldn't want to do that to your Porsche!
Nice car dude! Great price! Anything done with the IXX?
You can run 295/30s. No rubbing. I had 285/35s which would have similar overall diameter with no issue.
