My first thought was just to run straight short lengths of silicone tube but it seems kind of clumsy.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this previously. I have the rear light clusters out of my car and notice that the U shaped vent pipes are cracked, loose and generallly well past their best. Does anyone have any recomendations as to replacing them with fresh, shiny , new items? I have looked at the PET diagram and it shows one pipe only but there are definitely several each side and also at £30 pounds each it seems excessive, to say the least. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

if you don't have fogging, why would you bother?

POST 3Original post

Or just replace it with a length of silicone tube. As long as the end is pointing away from potential splashes it'll work

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They aren't fogging at this time but I see the potential for it soon. My first thought was just to run straight short lengths of silicone tube but it seems kind of clumsy.
