Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hello all, Long time lurker, first time poster. I've currently got a '97 993 S and have been considering parting with it for the Cayman. I've just bought a new(to me) housethat doent have a garage or decent parking and I cant bear to leave my 993 on the street....and I dont think I'd be as emotional about the Cayman so its number one choice right now - this, coupled with it being a newer car, is making me steer toward the Cayman. I really like the look and the theory behind the car and can wait to see it in the metal. I dropped my 993 off at Porsche HQ in Reading this morning for some gearbox work (I cant wait for a new car with Warranty!) and picked upthe Cayman details. Here in the UK, the first deliveries will be in February according to the dealer - though they will have a few LHD cars arrive in two weeks as a teaser!

POST 2Original post

Ross, Welcome to the site! I thought the first cars were arriving in the UK in November, has that been pushed back? If your dealer gets a car in two weeks for viewing would you mind running down and snapping a few shots and uploading them here? Cheers,

POST 3Original post

ThanksK-Man! My apologies, the first RHD cars on order will indeed arrive in November - they advised that cars ordered now could be shipped for Feb delivery. My 993 is back in for a service soon so I'll get some pics then /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbs_up.gif
