Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have not driven a rear engine car very much, just a few 911's on test drives.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have been looking at various 2002 911 C2's for several months. I have added to my list one of the tihings I want on it is PSM (along with heated seats for the wife!). As this car will be a daily driver, here in the Midwest, in all sorts of weather, I thought the PSM would help in bad weather besides help keeping one out of trouble otherwise. I don't expect to track or autocross the car, but you never know. What are people's experiences with PSM? Is it really something of value? I have not driven a rear engine car very much, just a few 911's on test drives. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

You cannot predict when you will hit a patch of slippery road. I have found PSM to worth it. It is seamless and will save you from some unsavory moments. PSM is well worth the investment.

POST 3Original post

It's the Management System for steering just like ABS is for braking. . . I have it, don't turn it off unless I'm doing something crazy. You make the call,
