Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've done this a few times and there is 12.65V with the feed disconnected from the pump but basically no power when i connect it to the pump.
Leading evidence: 'Disconnect from the pump' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Disconnect from the pump' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Microswitches were also replaced on this occasion.

It was a bit of a fiddle getting to it but I swapped the spoiler extension relay with the retraction one and it worked fine one way and not the other confirming a dud relay.
Outcome qualification: Negation, uncertainty or missing explicit repair resolution overrides the raw extraction signal.

After problems 3 years ago necessitating the pump and lines replacement at the cost of more than my old VW Golf, I had to replace the microswitches not long after.

Using the multimeter to test for power at the feed to the pump and it reads 12.65V when I press the switch so there is power going to the pump.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After problems 3 years ago necessitating the pump and lines replacement at the cost of more than my old VW Golf, I had to replace the microswitches not long after. All was well until the leaky rams this year which both cost more than the Golf is worth, again. Microswitches were also replaced on this occasion.
I thought this was the end of the problems until this week! It started with the spoiler not rising twice at 75 mph but worked normally with the switch. Now it wouldn't rise at all. I had to read my original spoiler thread in the Technical section to do some fault finding. Using the PIWIS 2 the fault recorded is the generic 9150 code. Fuse D7 is fine. The microswitches are fine using a continuity meter to confirm the bottom switch is NO (normally open) and the top NC (normally closed). I put power at the pump terminals and it rises and retracts fine. Using the multimeter to test for power at the feed to the pump and it reads 12.65V when I press the switch so there is power going to the pump. Now this is the bit that is baffling me and i wonder if it is the relay - when i connect the feed to the pump and press the button, it only reads 165mV. I've done this a few times and there is 12.65V with the feed disconnected from the pump but basically no power when i connect it to the pump. The relays are a bit of a pain to get to in my car as it has the Bose subwoofer at the rear. Any advice is appreciated.
I decided to go ahead and test the relay. It was a bit of a fiddle getting to it but I swapped the spoiler extension relay with the retraction one and it worked fine one way and not the other confirming a dud relay. Porsche part number is 996 615 102 00 and they cost about £25 but it is a common 5 pin type B relay and Bosch do one for £10 from Euro Car Parts. Bosch part number is 0332019151. I'll get some photos and do a write up for the technical section once I put everything back together.
