Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I disconnected the air pipe by the throttle plate. The hard plastic one. I went to put it back on and for the life of me I cannot get it back on. I get it on as far as I can put instead of popping on - it slides off. Anyone else run into this?

POST 2Original post

Are you talking about the air intake from the filter to the throttle? If so, I had the same problem and ended up heating the plastic with a heat gun (carefully) to give it a bit more flexibility. I presume that they harden with age.

POST 3Original post

I think this is pretty common, happened to me ages ago when I cleaned my TB. I don't rember which way I did it specifically, but start with the pipe angled and seat the back or the front fully, then rock the pipe into place while maintaining a hell of a lot of pressure on it. A little ptfe spray on the TB doesn't hurt. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The heat gun worked like a champ. Thanks
