These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

such a problem should highlight a fault code
Dual mass flywheels are by LUK
straight forward to replace

I have similar noises and believe mine os the flywheel too.
Mine may have covered 180,000 miles though. I’m waiting for the clutch to require replacement before addressing it.
They should have replaced it doing clutch and IMS bearing so 10k miles is way too quick for it to be worn out. Check to see if it was done then , should be a criminal offence not to do so.
When you say "all good underneath" have you had it up on a lift and really had a good look?
Thanks yes Porsche specialist had it on ramp gone through the underneath, mounts etc says more than likely DMF, as said job to take down and confirm or leave with chance of cause probs.

Oh wait, 16k was worth a little more back then
Another noticeable noise on mine occurs when travelling on a constant light throttle, say maintaining 30mph in third and abruptly coming off throttle, gives an audible “clack” from the drivetrain.
My current clutch is on 65k, gearbox and flywheel probably original 180k.
I live with it as a characteristic of the old banger, but it will probably fail and inconvenience me at some point.
I did everything on my Boxster years ago now and a new clutch/DMF was a transformation, the clutch was so light after it was done I thought I hadn't bled it fully.
180k on a DMF is very impressive , you must be driving with a good deal of mechanical sympathy.
