Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, my front drivers side indicator started flashing fast when turned on. I assume it’s the indicator bulb? However, when I turn on the headlights, the entire unit stays off. The fuse looked ok? But how would I tell? I will try the bulb change on the indicator BUT any advice greatly appreciated!!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok indicator bulb changed and all is working again. Phew!

POST 3Original post

I recently had a similar issue. Turned out I hadn't previously installed the headlamp correctly and it had worked itself loose. So it could be you've fixed it just by removing and refitting the headlamp unit.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good point. I couldn’t see anything wrong with the old bulb!
