Hi Guys So my 996 Targa is in need of new front shocks. I have been thinking about getting some lowering springs all round, but now I know I need shocks, I thought I'd ask here for people opinions and advice. Which shocks.. which lowering springs? Many thanks

Hi I have a 996 Targa as well Recently replaced all the suspension at Porsche Brooklands It was a Porsche oe sports suspension kit, shocks, lowering springs, new anti roll bars etc The whole kit was on special offer at the time Very impressed with it

Why do you need to replace your shocks? Get them rebuilt to as new for around £100 each.

they are a bit of a rusty mess. Bought the car 2 weeks ago, and got my local indy to put on a ramp today to have a look around. the only point of note was the front shocks.
