I've had great success putting the mats in the washing machine but other than taking it to a detailer can someone give me a protocol for cleaning the interior carpets?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I want to clean my carpets. I've had great success putting the mats in the washing machine but other than taking it to a detailer can someone give me a protocol for cleaning the interior carpets? I have a shop vac that I'm sure will be an element and a pressure washer that I cannot imagine being an element. Am considering taping off the speakers and spraying carpet cleaner and then vacuuming it out. I will not be removing the seats or other key parts.
I don't get enough sarcasm in my life so please tell me to buy a new car with a new interior, take it to a detail shop, do it right or don't do it, get more time in the seat at the track, etc. Thanks in advance.
Thoughts?
No need for the pressure washer. As a pro Detailer, I have a hot water extractor but I don't use it on most jobs anymore. The carpet stays damp for too long.
So, run down to Lowes and pick up a bottle of Folex. It's magical. I think there are actual unicorn tears in it. Spray it on, scrub with a small brush then vac. Done.
I imagine a professional job might cost close to what it would to just buy something like this

Works very well, and is easy to maneuver. Found mine on Ebay for $80
Cleaning a car carpet without a machine is simple and can be done with items you most likely already have at home. To remove dirt from car carpets, use common household items like rags, brooms, dustpans, and even toothbrushes.
To effectively clean your car's interior carpets, follow this protocol. Begin with a thorough vacuuming, then pre-treat stains and gently scrub them with a soft brush. Rinse and blot dry, being careful not to oversaturate. If there are odors, consider using a fabric deodorizer. For optimal results and convenience, consider the services of

for professional car carpet cleaning.
Been doing research on carpet cleaning products that work best on pet stains and odors. My pup is almost house-trained but he can't seem to get the "going #1" down. I use pee pads and he seems to get that he needs to use them but he's been going on the carpet some as well. Anyway, I'm going to be cleaning the carpets soon and I'm curious what all you guys have used hat has worked well on pet stains and odors. I've read about a vacuumed product called Capture and a machine cleaner product called Nature Miracle. Any suggestions? BTW: I have Berber carpet, cream and beige in color.
Does anybody on here do carpet cleaning aswell. Im thinking of trying to add it to my Services. Not sure how well it would take of as only have customers for window cleaning and soffit cleaning. So would buy the machine with zero customers so will need to start all over again with it. But thought it’s another Services I can don just wanted to know if anyone does it on here and what machine do you use? Thanks all.
