Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning everyone I've had various parts covered with alcantara one being the air bag on the passenger side. I've removed the two long bolts from inside the glove box but it won't pull out. Have I missed a fixing somewhere. Don't want to bang around to much just in case it goes off

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Richard thanks I had this but it doesn't tell you that there's a spring that runs across the back of the airbag. I took the two bolts out and it still didn't come forward. I removed the whole glove box and your able to look right up to behind the air bag unit and low and behold a spring about 6" long unhooked it and came out really easy. You don't have to remove the pin like it shows in the pic.
