Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I tried a search, and checked the FAQ section but couldn't find the answer to this. Does anybody know if the heated seat option includes a heater for the lower back or is it only for the the butt portion of the seat? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Believe I read in another post that there are separate heating elements for the back and butt portions.

POST 3Original post

Seat back and bottom get real toasty. After a few minutes I switch to the lower power for less heat, then it becomes real comfortable.

POST 4Original post

Just to be clear, the heater in the back goes up higher than I have seen in other cars.

POST 5Original post

Toasty The butt and back heating elements are always on together. The switch has two settings. One push (high setting / two lights) warms the seat up in about a minute. Push again (low setting / one light) for the lower setting that is just right. Don't leave home without it.

POST 6Original post

Just to clarify if it's not obvious...there are three settings...High, low, off.

POST 7Original post

Yep 3 settings, driver and passenger have separate controls

POST 8Original post

Thanks for everyone's quick response. I don't need the heated seats in Florida, but my sister has them in her Lexus and finds that they help sooth the back after a long day with patients. Especially the lower back.
