Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My A/C compressor won't turn on, however, the 2 front fans turn on after 20 seconds and run continuously. My scanner indicates that the A/C evap sensor is reading -40 degrees. This reading prevents the A/C from turning on. Part # is: 1H0-907-543-A. Diagrams show that it "should be" on the driver's side interior, above the floor vent! I have searched for the sensor location to no avail! Any idea where this sensor is hiding??
