The scoops and splitters that you refer to are for helping to direct the air flow under the car to places of use, ie brake cooling and radiator exhaust.

John, The scoops and splitters that you refer to are for helping to direct the air flow under the car to places of use, ie brake cooling and radiator exhaust. They do an important job but are not essential, however if they were not needed they would not be there. The cam solonoid seals are on both cam covers and seal the entry of the solonoids for vairiocam actuators. Migration info. Legacy thread was 80690
