Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey team, Where can I obtain a Porsche Sports Exhaust for my 996 C4s for a reasonable price? I have seen some obscene numbers quoted by the dealer. Mani

POST 2Original post

1.8k +vat should be the supply-only price. I believe fitting time, which includes the wiring for the button, is about 8 hours. KR Lee

POST 3Original post

Porsche Brooklands quoted me around £3800 fitted last year. It was £2000 alone for the standard mufflers... Carnewal in Belgium can fit a PSE for you - priced in euros; used to be a bit cheaper than Porsche but then Brexit happened!! There are other switchable options also. If your mufflers are in reasonable shape a 'Gundo Hack' is worth considering. Much improved noise and character, just no switch. You arguably don't need the switch either as it's only noisy when you rev it.

My Dansk exhaust is great, it was from design911 I think, they had an offer at the time.
