Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi - after my second flat in 6 months (thankfully it was fixable and only cost £23 this time) I'm very much inclined to get a space-saver spare. I've had a quick look on ebay and need some help to identify just what I'm after please....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I believe it will fit in the front hole? Apparently there is an inflated and a non-inflated version. Other problem of course is where to stick the punctured wheel as I don't think standard wheels fits in the front?? Need confirmation on all though if anyone can help. (I'm also hoping that if I embark on this plan I will never have a puncture again )

I dind't realise porsche made a space saver for the cayman.. Especially for the S where calipers are larger.

The 986 Boxster has a standard space saver. It should fit as the S uses the same brakes as the 996.
