Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My 987.2 has the base CDR-30 radio with the Bose High End pkg but no PCM . Any chance no fiber cable is used so a MOST or a total amp+speaker replacrnt would not be needed to change out the CDR-30 for a new radio?

POST 2Original post

I’m not an expert. But if you have Bose . You have most. You have fiber. I’m debating myself doing the conversion to PCM . Looks like a lot of work. Just for Navigation that quite honestly should have already been there.

Any compatible amps, or adapters? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

POST 5Original post

I’m in the same boat. Doing the MOST conversion right now

POST 6Original post

If you google Bose MOST adapter you will find a few options. I haven't used any of them (kept my Bose ). If you do a search in the forum, you will find a few build/conversion threads.

POST 7Original post

DA-G2.Pro MOST25 - mObridge i am in the process of getting the MOST 8.1.1 for 958.2 ,

POST 9Original post

Put in the JoyeAuto unit and get CarPlay . That way you have WAZE , Google Maps, etc, plus Audio Text and Calendar. It is only $485.

POST 10Original post

I put in an Android head unit for my 987.1 CS with Bose . The unit was $475 and had everything included to work with the Bose amp . I now have BT, Android Auto , Apple Carplay , navigation, etc. with the OEM Bose amp and OEM speakers.
