Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ive been looking at my seat switch and I cant seem to find a part number. There are numbers and I have googled them but no exact match. The switch allows forward and back motion. Its moves the front seat up and down. It moves back of seat to forward and back and it pumps air in to adjust cushion I guess. Anyone know specifically the part number of this switch? Thanks for your patience.

POST 2Original post

What is the year model and the color? They are listed in the Auto Atlanta parts diagram for 996, 2002-2005 in the body section in the page for the Comfort Seat

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2002 c4s with black cover. I get tripped up thinking some c4ss might have different seat options. I think some dont have the air pump feature. Ill take a look. Thanks.

POST 4Original post

The round button that pumps air is for the Lumbar Support, and it's true, not every seat has those. Mine looks like yours. I'm currently on the hunt for a switch because the front button broke off.

Thank you. Perfect. These things are dam expensive.

POST 7Original post

$500 for new part? Maybe want to have someone look at the circuit board to find broken solder or open circuit? If its a switch, youre toast, though. No ones ever said theyve been successful with repairing the switches.
