Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Reported cause
The officer that came to take the report said it was the thirteenthed set taken from our neighborhood this month alone.
Leading evidence: 'thirteenthed set taken' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'thirteenthed set taken' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace order' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you never had Xenon
headlights
you won't miss it, however once you had it, it's the best thing expecialy if you live in areas where street lignting is not the best. I've had it on my
BMW
530i, and I've ordered it on our X3 and now on the Cayman. To me it makessignificant difference at nights on dark roads, however it might just be a matter of preference.
I went to walk the dog last night about midnight. Four doors from my house I saw their escalade had the hood up. I knocked on their door and they ran out to find their xenon lights had been ripped off for the second time in two months.
The officer that came to take the report said it was the thirteenthed set taken from our neighborhood this month alone. Miami is having an apedemic, and I am sure it is bad in other places too.
Do they provide better light? Yes. Is it worth the body damage, insurance issues, and aggrevation? Not in my opinion.
If you live in a big metropolitan area, the chances of theft are relatively high, and in that invironment you probably won't miss the extra light anyway. If I lived in a rural area, I probably would opt for the xenons.
<div>well they also might steal your Porsche too. That is what isurance is for and I wouldn't not get something 'just because' it might be stolen. </div>

<div>Get them, they are great.</div>
get um....as tony says....theyrrrre greeeeaatttt!
(and bright too).
you could get the preferred plus package like i did. it has lots of goodies in it. 4 grand though...ouch.
My wife has them on her
BMW
X5 and they are great. My 914-6 has lights from the 15th century. The zenons were a bunch of money, but I ordered them on my Cayman. You might as well get what you want....amortized over the life of your loan....it doesn't make all that much difference.

I concur...Also, are the Porsche lights even usable in any other vehicle? I doubt they would be stolen from a Porsche as there are not too many P-cars out there (compared to Escalades and other mass-produced cars which have Xenons.
You have to get them, they're cool as all hell and the halogens look like crap. They should come standard, then nobody would have to worry about them getting ripped off cos everybody would have em.
G.
I definitely say yes to ordering them. They are soo good if the lighting isn't great where you live. And those long dark desert roads light up really well with them.
Think: Bi-Xenon; sees little deer near road; tells friends
Think: No B-Xenon; doesn't see little deer near road; others tell friends.
I saw some little deer just yesterday evening, that I otherwise would have not seen. These lights are a must (IMHO).
Thanks to all your great input, I added the Bi-Xenons to my order today.
I have to stop reading about all the options or I will go crazy second guessing myself!

Buy the zenons. Then buy a baseball bat. Put a motion sensitive light shining on your driveway. Beat the living $#@% out of anyone who touches you car. It works well for me, no one screws with my vehicles, but maybe because my bat is 12 guage.
I did not get Xenon. I figured high-beams would be plenty if I needed more light.
Are the Xenon's at normal level brighter than high-beams from halogen?
