Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Is it just me or is it frustrating that you have to reselect random every time the car starts? Heck even with my MP3 cd with 90 songs on it, whenever the player has trouble with some tracks it pops out of random and starts at the beginning.

POST 3Original post

Not only that but the random order may play the tracks out of sequence but it follows the same sequence every time. My passenger was amazed that on an MP3 disc with over 120tracks and 12 foldersI was able to predict what the nexttrack would be despite random being selected.

POST 4Original post

Amazing how simple that would have been to fix!!!! They are choosing the same seed for the random number generator each time. All they had to do was pick some unique item like the date/time as a seed. It's lazy crap like this that just pisses me off.

POST 5Original post

You know, I thought the order sounded the same. Me thinks there needs to be some hackin....or at least a firmware update.

POST 6Original post

For whatever reason my cd player fails to remember what track was playing after I turn-off the car. The cd just starts back at track #1 when I return my car. This doesn't seem to happen everytime, but it happens enough to have it replaced. Anyone else having this problem?? Edited by - OAKTOWN OG on 04/01/2006 09:30:06 AM

POST 7Original post

I have all the same complaints/problems as listed above. Could have been an easy fix with some of the coding changed during programing. I too think it is lazy. Oh well, it's a sports car. They didn't get lazy with the handling aspects, that's for sure! Shane
