Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

At least the exhaust manifold bolts look good on this one, although they used stainless Allen socket head bolts rather than OEM when the manifold was changed to a stainless one.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I would never bid more than £15k on a car at an auction like this. You've really no idea how good or bad it is without getting it up on a lift and giving it at least an hours inspection.
And I agree those wheels have to go which means with tyres you could be in for £2.5k straight away and selling those might not be too easy.
It's in Sidmouth so for me that's 2 days travelling plus accommodation and organising it to go a lift. No chance.
Well, it’s obviously not going to sell for £15k! But, I know where you’re coming from. There is some visibility of the underside in the presentation. At least the exhaust manifold bolts look good on this one, although they used stainless Allen socket head bolts rather than OEM when the manifold was changed to a stainless one. Turbo actuators have also been done. And the engine and box were out last year to fix a leak, so it doesn’t look like there are any leaks. I do find the glued in coolant pipes a bit of a worry on these though …
It doesn't look too bad at all underneath to be fair but I just would never buy a car like this unless I'd already had a proper poke about.
If you look at pic 47 of the "Mechanics" photos the jacking point looks fine, just surface corrosion but the part below that
It might be nothing but like I say I'd want to check it out.
Yeah … the last one on Trade Classics - the Turbo Cabriolet - didn’t hit reserve and is now on a Buy it Now. That said, auctions usually express where “the market” is on price. And, there are quite a few of these that have been up for sale for several months. People holding out for a price that they’re not likely to see(?).
A few nuts and bolts are the least of the issues... its the centre cartridge of the turbos where you need to FULLY inspect. The pic below show the hole that were on my 50k miler before i replaced them. If they need replacing you are looking around £5000 as you will also need all of the lines going to the turbos of which there are 6 along with the NRV's and all the other bits.
