I have a 2002 996 Turbo arriving at the end of the week, and want to replace the CDR22 head unit with a Continental single din (it was a straight forward swap in the 993) but I understand that the Bose in the 996 might complicate things, is there an adapter to allow the Continental (no pre-outs) to talk to the Bose amp?

Just to follow up on this, I ended up with Tore’s adapter and the Conti head unit is installed and fully functioning with the Bose amp. ISO harness Porsche 996/Boxster Bose - BERGVILL F/X ISO power harness for easy plug-and-play installation of the Continental head units in a Porsche 996 or Boxster 986 equipped with the Bose external amplifier system. This particular type of system use www.bergvillfx.com
