Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, purchased a set of snows for my C4 Cab in stock sizes (17" Sottozero's, 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back). Made an appointment at a Tire Rack preferred installer, Pro Automotive LLC in Dudley MA. I am wondering if I should get an alignment while I am there. And to that end, is there anything special about the Porsche C4 alignment that I should be aware of? Is it a two or four wheel alignment that is required for the C4? Any special specs or tools needed that would preclude anyone other than a specialty Porsche shop from doing the alignment?? Car is for casual use, not any track time. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I’m in Douglas ! We’re practically neighbors. For just a run around fun car, I would have no issues with any competent tech and a hunter alignment machine doing my alignment.

POST 3Original post

No special issues. If u r getting an alignment, it should be a 4 wheel and have them go to u.s. factory specs. If your current tire wear is even and it doesnt pull then there is usually no need for an alignmemt.

Thanks ! And I have been following your race car build since I joined. Not for the faint of heart, for sure. I am curious as to where folks go to meet up around here?
