Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just had my C4's 24,000 mile service at OPC Reading which included the 111 point check for the 50 quid and there was nothing wrong with my car (now the hinge is fixed!) and as a result I now have the Porsche extended warranty.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had my C4's 24,000 mile service at OPC Reading which included the 111 point check for the 50 quid and there was nothing wrong with my car (now the hinge is fixed!) and as a result I now have the Porsche extended warranty. Totally painless, let's hope I don't need till the day before I can't renew it Mind you a the 4 liter Autofarm conversion did sound tempting Mav PS: TVR charge over 1200 for their warranty!

POST 2Original post

I heard they are going to increase the price of extended warranty from £725 to £800 soon; has this happen as yet?

POST 3Original post

Best thing you could have done Stuart.....the peace of mind and the fact that Porsche Assist is included, makes it worth every penny IMO. It's quite a strange feeling really.....you drive around, you notice something is amiss, and you get annoyed, but then you start to smile, knowing it'll be free to fix* *Unless it's the coolant, fuel return sender, battery, wheel bearings etc etc ........................DOH![ ]

POST 4Original post

Maserati are charging £1,500 for their warranty. The good news is that they fix anything without quibble. The bad news is that there's a lot to go wrong....
