I am going to replace my standard gear knob assembly with a Function First knob. I am reluctant to cut up the standard boot that will be coming off, to preserve it for the future. Has anyone any experience of making a replacement boot? I feel confident that I can cut and sew well enough to make a good job of it. Also any pointers to a supplier of matching Metropol blue leather? Thanks in advance!
