Some battery charges don't supply voltage and current unless they are connected to a battery and sense the battery. Just don't use one of those

I usually don't lock doors of car when in garage. Apparently, the Porsche don't go into sleep mode unless doors are locked. Not being in sleep mode, draws more power. Not unique to the Porsche world. Friends corvette is the same problem. I also use the porsche branded ctek. Hope to make battery last. Last batter was 10 years old when I replaced it. Was cranking slow.
