Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

2000 Porsche 911 Silver Manual, 5 speed Right Hand Drive... 2000 Porsche 911 Silver Manual, 5 speed Right Hand Drive in Northwood, United Kingdom - For Sale | Car & Classic, £23,500 This is a prope... www.carandclassic.com I saw this for sale and have seen a couple of other RPM Technik 996 CSR’s for sale. Seems like a good package of engine upgrades.. any thoughts on “must do” upgrades for the 3.6 C4S engines to further enjoy them?

POST 2Original post

For the engine, I would focus on its reliability and spend on driveability upgrades e.g additional rad and other tech

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you. Sounds like good advice. I fitted a 997 shifter which I like. Anything else that you would advise?

POST 4Original post

that ad, aside from an exhaust I am not reading any engine mods ? suspension upgrades is what makes all the difference, the suspension challenge for your era of car are all the rubber bushes that are worn, which is what you need to address rather than just fitting harder suspension, a tuned suspension will provide more of a return than engine mods C4S exhaust system is already enough, unless you want a bit more noise

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, appreciate the advice. I will investigate.

POST 6Original post

A few of the best mods you can do is fit CSR or similar ally front rads and a centre rad, and a deep sump kit to add more oil.
