Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

We just received 4 Cayman S exhaust tips with a black nickel finish. They would be dynamite on a white car or black caror any other color as far as that goes.

I don't have a way to show a picture at this time. Perhaps I can get someone to help me tomorrow. in the mean time you can get a feel for the color from our web site
www.boothedesign.com
. Look at the Gallery section and go down to the end where we have many pictures of all other Porsche exhaust tips. look at Our number 851 and others to get a feel of black nickel.
How much? I have a white one on order and may be interested.I know some said it's $100 for polished tips which is what I was going to do. What kind of maintenance are we talking about. How susceptible to corrosion and discoloration?
Rudy
F. i .e. b. r. u. You may have the black nickel tip for $110.00 exchange. We have sold several black nickel tips in the last few years and no one has ever returned one. You just need to keep it clean, I suppose, without wiping it with any harsh cleanser or metal polish.
Hi. Can I please put my name down for one of the black nickel tips ? It would be great to see a photo of one of them. Are you OK to ship to the UK ?
Thanks, Tony
I forgot about this thread and I posted this in the Mod section under the tips thread. Anyway here is what i posted there.
I stopped by Ralph's home today and picked up one of the balck nickel tips. Ralph was kind enough to install the tip for me (free of charge) as well as show me his 2 pristine 911sand aunique Austin Heally Coupe. I was really kicking myself for forgeting my camera, but below are a few pictures i took once i got home. If any of you live in Southern California and are considering purchasing one of Ralph's beautiful pieces i would definatly recommend driving to his home to pic it up. Thanks a lot Ralph!
I also had Ralph install the chrome tips yesterday. Top quality and looks great... Very interesting guy and has alot of knowledge when it comes to Porsche and the company history. You can trust Ralph to do what he Say's he'll do. He also has the chrome lug nuts that look tits, I will have those installed next week..
Patch
You dog Patch! I will have my chromes by Tuesday. These must be the good times, remember when we were in the waiting stage trying to locate the cars, and the vessels! The next phase is sure a lot more fun.
Aloha Russ
Funny Russ but true! You will enjoy the chrome and it really is easy to install. You need to get a hold of the chrome lug nuts... They look great and make a huge difference in the wheel look.
P.S. We got the first two chrome tips!!!!

Hey guys. Do you know if they plan on developing anything bigger that fits the cut-out? I think if they made them bigger, the fit would look tighter. Also, I'd like to see something that stuck out just a hair, maybe 1-2 cm.
The space between the exhaust tips and the bumper cover trim is needed for the writhing that the tips do under hard acceleration. Watch a Cayman accelerate hard and you will see what I mean.
Those Black Nickel tips look good @website. Will show them to the other half in the morning and hopefully she will like them as much as I do and give me the nod. !!!!! Have to drive into SF Valley to take in some silver pieces for restoration anyway and would be good to stop by and pu a set of tips......
