Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello. Hate to repeat an old topic, but I could not find my specific problem and hoping someone might have some guidance. I disconnected the drive that raises and lowers my top and have been using it happily manually. Only power part I still use is the final pulling into the windshield and the releasing from the windshield. Mine has stopped working on the attaching. It still will release from windshield. I tried shunting the micro switches to see if it would work via by passing them, but no difference. So I assumed they were ok. I then dropped the controller and figured it was corroded (like my immo and ecu under the driver's seat were). But it looks like someone has already replaced it. (fotos) I tried switching a relay to see if that could be it. No difference. Fuse fine. It will work occasionally . When it does work, both motors fine work. What am I missing? Any ideas?
