Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

2006 Cayman S, 2700 miles.... I noticed the other day when I was cleaning my car, a spring had jutted out from under the passenger side underbody. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I'm planning to take my car into the dealer this Thursday. Other Issues:
[*]Speakers rattling at high-speeds. [*]Cutch seems to 'catch' in 1st or2nd gear occasionally. [/list]

POST 2Original post

I'm not 100% sure, but could this be the A/C drip tube for condensation? -Pete

POST 3Original post

That's a drain hose, not a spring, you can either push it back up in there some, leaving a bit hanging out, or trim it off, or ask your dealer to do something about it. This is normal.

POST 6Original post

I'm sorry Jamespson no disrepect intended but you made my day. For the life of me I couldn't imagine how a spring could be sticking out from under the car and then I opened your post and saw the picture. I still can't stop laughing.
