Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The work order says 'Lubed micro switch', although I'm sure this is not what the problem was since the squeaking would happen when the pedal was barely engaged.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Has anyone else experienced their clutch pedal squeaking? Mine started at about 1600 miles, after two months of driving. I got up under the dash and discovered that the clutch arm (plastic) is dampened by flat rubber type bushingsat the top. When you are letting the clutch out gently in first or reverse from a dead stop it squeaks. I rarely notice it when shifting at speed but at stop signs and traffic lights, there it is again. I've tried lubing with WD-40, silicone, etc. with a slight improvement at best. /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/angry_smile.gif Anyone have any suggestions? I'm frustrated and open to trying most anything.

OK Folks, It's been two+ weeks since I posted this and today I got my first response via pm. I can't believe there are only two of us with this problem. HELP PLEASE! I would appreciate some suggestions to try if anyone has any.... Bluesmaster

POST 3Original post

I guess my ears are not sensitive enough. I listened for it but just don't hear it, thankfully.

POST 4Original post

Mine just started doing this. I was on a trip in California when I first noticed. Now it drive me crazy... I can her a spring noise as well. I'm going to talk to the dealer....

POST 5Original post

I had the squeaking issue 4000 miles ago. It seemed to happen when I gently pushed on the pedal. The dealer fixed this. The work order says 'Lubed micro switch', although I'm sure this is not what the problem was since the squeaking would happen when the pedal was barely engaged.
