Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey everyone, couldnt find a post about this so I figured Ill just ask. Has anyone with the clear 996 headlights tried to apply an Amber or Orange film to the blinkers/taillights without having to replace the entire units? Im debating on buying some Amber colored film from Lamin-X as Ive been wanting to have the fried egg look. Seeing the price for some amber light units would be more expensive than Id want, specially to buy a whole set of head/tail lights. Figured this way might still look good if done right. And way cheaper haha. What are everyones thoughts on that idea?

POST 5Original post

+1 I'd get a set of Amber lights all around. They will not get any cheaper so it's almost like putting your money into a limited resource like gold. (albeit with much lower liquidity, of course)

POST 6Original post

There is likely to be plenty of guys who will trade you their fried egg lights for your clears. Thats the best option, especially if you can find a local and do the swap in person
