Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

However, as above, it needs a good clean, being driven then getting it into the air to hunt the leaks properly.

I would wash the engine and if the water pump and related hoses hasn't been done, change those first.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 2002 996.2 Carrera 4, which i am getting ready for a European jaunt to circuit Folenbray after a short hop to Bruges, in June. I used LAP911 in Highworth, near Swindon to check over and service the car. They mentioned both oil and coolant leaks, but not serious leaks. They advised that they clean up the leaks so that next time, they could trace them.
I want to get the car tip top for the trip, but have noticed quite a mess on my driveway. Some pictures under the car today. My hope is that these are common fault leaks and I can sort them.
Can anyone help diagnose where these leaks are coming from, so i might be able to tackle this myself and build my confidence?
Like admin says..it's got to go up in the air and have a good look. From the photos it looks like multiple hoses and areas.
It's very hard to even begin to sort that whilst on a driveway.
Going out on a limb here, but:
Coolant - Looks like the water pump. There's also red/ white residue visible on the pump
Oil - Looks like spark plug tubes, though I don't think the 3.6 has similar tube as the 3.4, so it could be the cam covers or and / or Variocam solenoids. The solenoid flanges and cheap and easy to change. It could also be the AOS or a failed AOS hose, which are a pain to change.
I would wash the engine and if the water pump and related hoses hasn't been done, change those first. It's easy to mix a coolant and oil leak if coolant leaks onto an already dirty engine, though your oil leak does seem to be coming from the cam cover area.
+1 to potentialy water pump/thermostat gasket leaks given where the coolant drops on the drive are. Oil could be anywhere but I'd definitely start with pulling the spark plugs and seeing if the o-ring seals are shot. However, as above, it needs a good clean, being driven then getting it into the air to hunt the leaks properly.
Could be water pump as has already been suggested. That jubilee clip on the hose looks very crusty. Wouldn't be surprised if you gave it a poke with a screw driver it wall fall apart.
