Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am hoping to short circuit buying the wrong scissor lift for my newly acquired 2010 Boxster. I have a two post big boy but want a lift for wheel cleaning and other minor maintenance when the big one is occupied. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have air and 120 240V available soo no issues at to power requirements. cheers

POST 2Original post

I use a QuickJack on my my old Cayman and current 996 GT3. Stores under the car when not in use.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks Sergio / just sent you some money on the tool bag too......... Is there more than one Quickjack size or one size fits all? cheers

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

just checked it out on Pelican / got it / thanks

POST 5Original post

Quickjack 5000 SLX definitely would be more than enough for the job and can easily be stored under the car or hang them on the wall with the new quickjack wall mounts.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unfortunately unavailable..............

POST 7Original post

The Quickjacks are nice. The BL-5000-SLX is the one for our cars. If Pelican is out of stock, you can also order direct from Quickjacks. Both have sales in Nov. but you might not want to wait that long.

POST 8Original post

Ditto for quickjack... bundle at Costco was around $1k with wall hangers and pinch weld cushions.
