Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The light went off on its own plus I tested the manual operation which worked and the spoiler automatically worked at the correct speed both up and down.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took my .1 C2 out for a spin today and stopped at a nursery to order some plants. When I turned the car back on I had a spoiler warning light illuminated. This has not happened before in my few weeks of ownership and 200miles driven! The light went off on its own plus I tested the manual operation which worked and the spoiler automatically worked at the correct speed both up and down. Not too concerned at the moment but wondered if this happens to other members cars.

POST 2Original post

I think this light always comes on when you start the car and will automatically go off when you drive a few yards. Perhaps you didn't notice it before?

I fully agree. During my first few weeks of ownership, I was also slightly alarmed by this light. Although, I thought I left my engine lid open, lol.

POST 4Original post

It comes on at start up and should extinguish when you exceed 6kph. The module can't tell if it has wheel speed sensor input until the car is moving, so holds the warning light until it has seen it.
