Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You need to scan the car with a Porsche specific scan tool and see what it is trying to tell you, and the module(s) you already replaced will probably need to be coded to the car as well.

The battery is new, and fuses test good, clutch switch is good, brake switch is good, and all relays test good.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2006 Carrera S 3.8 will not start. Looks like the Vapor cannister caught fire in the frunk and destroyed the wiring harness and front control module. I have made all repairs but will not try to start. This is what is going on. When I turn the key, nothing, no crank. Dash has Air bag light on with ABS light. Dash Information center displays depress clutch. This is what I have looked into. Every location that needs power, has it. The battery is new, and fuses test good, clutch switch is good, brake switch is good, and all relays test good. Alarm will lock and unlock, seam ok. Anything I am missing?

POST 2Original post

You probably lost other modules with the harness was destroyed. You need to scan the car with a Porsche specific scan tool and see what it is trying to tell you, and the module(s) you already replaced will probably need to be coded to the car as well.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is what I was thinking, Thanks!
