Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a chrome indicator bulb option for the front headlights, side indicator and rear lamp units in a 2004 996 C4S?
Several websites are giving me different info on which bulbs to buy, so I thought I’d ask the advice of owners.
Thanks in advance,
Wayne
I fit the Philips Silver Vision in my front lights 10 years ago. Still work fine now:

Did you cracked out the yellow glass?
Osram Diadem Chrome or Philips Silver Vision are both good. Bright enough...nearly invisible. But the Philips a a little more silver...
I installed LED bulbs from classiccarleds.co.uk. Removes the amber and the bulbs are brighter and faster to light too. I did the reverse, brake and rear lights too. All are brighter and safer as they light up quicker. No issues with canbus as they have the proper resistance. The reverse lights in particular are a fantastic upgrade as they actually light the way when you're reversing.
I did this recently, hopefully got the correct ones!
