Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am finding that the armrest between the front seats is difficult to latch down. Is it a difficult job to adjust the latch. The latch does work eventually so I presume it is only adjustment.

POST 2Original post

On mine I have to push it firmly down. There does not seem to be any adjustment the lock and latch is a all in one part. The only way to get at is by the removal of the centre consel its a very easy job to do. If you were to get a second hand one I don't know if you could take out the lock itself to fit your own one for your key. I have a second hand one you can have if you want it. Your more than welcome.

POST 3Original post

Two months ago, I ended up paying PC Swindon £150 to replace my centre armrest latch. So it goes.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you for your responses I will take out the console and see if I can move the latch slightly higher so that it connects sooner.

POST 5Original post

If you get stuck I dId mine the other day 07836 546500 simon
