Suggestion

I'd be happy to buy one that comes off a 2016 GT3RS used, if someone has one for sale (someone that's been on the forums for several years), not some clown who makes up a fake account to ask me to use "friends and family" with Paypal.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey all. First, apologies if this is in the wrong area. I didn't see anything in terms of sale/wtb in the 991 section (unless I missed it). I had a U.S. Millworks tow license plate bracket on my last 2016 GT3RS but I've tried to reach out to them on their site via email and even on their Facebook page (hasn't been posted on since 2011) but I've received no return emails. Does anyone know a suitable replacement that actually works with 100% certainty? I saw one listed on Pelicanparts but when I clicked to buy it, a warning came up saying they couldn't confirm correct fitment for my car even though it specifically listed my year and model. I don't want it sitting on my bumper by drilling holes and I'd rather go with this design since I prefer its placement rather than sitting in front of the lower front bumper. I know there are options that don't involve drilling into the front bumper but I really would like to find one that fits into the tow hitch. I'd be happy to buy one that comes off a 2016 GT3RS used, if someone has one for sale (someone that's been on the forums for several years), not some clown who makes up a fake account to ask me to use "friends and family" with Paypal. 🔨 Thank you

Update... I was told that it will fit the 991 RS (part from Pelican Parts # REN-E1070-117-991-USA) for anyone who happens to be looking for one in the future. When it arrives next week, I'll try it out and confirm that it works. I do try to update posts whenever I make one somewhere as common courtesy but if I don't post the update and you happen to be reading this and wondering the outcome, feel free to email me at any time and I'll be sure to let you know and that will likely serve as a reminder for me to update my findings here.
