Same spec as the Carrera wheels, so I use the same size spacers on these as well.

Iv got a set of sport classic II on at minute running 15mm spacers all round
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

just got 996 40 anni and wondering what are the best size spacers?
wheels are oem so 18 inch carreras
18 x 8 front offset 50
18 x 10 rear offset 65
is it 15mm all round or more like 12mm?
or do you go bigger at front (15mm) and maybe 8mm rear?
thanks
I measured my "gap" on my 9997.2, I simply put a small spirit level in the top dead centre of the wheel arch at both the front and rear wheel, levelled it and then measured the gap to the sidewall of the tyre. I determined that I could get away with 7mm at the front and 15mm at the rear but i ended up with 5/15 as the supplier had a deal on that config. The front could come out some more but I'm not making a watch.
I ran 15 rear and 10 fronts with those wheels on my narrow body. I bought the front ones with the 3 prongs, as ones without the lip seemed to cause a small vibration above a certain speed. Such as the below:

The 15mm ones are properly hubcentric i.e. have a lip on to place the wheel correctly.

thanks both and very useful
Scott that is a nice stance and fill out of the arches well so will try that. ideal as you have the narrow body 996 and same wheels.
From EBay, rears are hubcentric but the fronts aren't, like most of the 5mms. I needed longer bolts for the rears but ALL my existing bolts were horrendous looking so I replaced them all round. I'll dig our the supplier on EBay, he was good as he answered quite a few questions and sent out seperate parts when a mistake was made on his end.
Edit here we go!
15MM HUBCENTRIC WHEEL SPACER KIT PORSCHE ALLOY (5X130 PCD 71.6MM) BOLT [2B10P45] | eBay UK
Our kit part number: 2B10P45. Spaces each wheel by 15mm (30mm per axle). This kit includes 10 top quality Porsche style extended length wheel bolts. They feature the 'captive' (freely rotating) washers and 'radius' seats that you would find on an OE Porsche wheel bolt.

They are just the 18" Carrera wheels that came on the car from factory. Best OEM wheel for a 996 in my opinion, very light as well. I run OZ Alleggeritas now though!

Same spec as the Carrera wheels, so I use the same size spacers on these as well. I do have a full sell of extended wheel bolts in black funnily enough as I've recently done a stud and nut conversion, let me know if of any interest.
