Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I bought the car the PCM/stereo was dead. I've tried to locate a decent fuse plan but cant find one - it took be longer than expected to actually find the fuse box - but, I'm going to do the obvious thing and check the fuse and take it from there. If it turns out that the system is dead, what are my options? I've pondered a 2-din Apple-Play conversion which I have in another vehicle but, although its dated, I do like the look of the system as it fits in well with the car/interior and I'd like to keep it as original looking as possible - any suggestions for an original alternative or, somewhere I can get my unit fixed/upgraded etc?

POST 2Original post

original PCM serves no value maybe go back to a single din unit ?

What fills the gap left by the unit - is there a cubby underneath the radio?
