Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

So after picking up the 2017 911 a few days ago while the dealer held it for 2 weeks after my purchase last month, I discovered that once I opened the engine hatch and closed it, the opened hatch indicator doesn't go away until I switch screens on the dashboard. So the electronics thinks it's open all the time. Also, when the back up camera initiates, it does not go away once I put the car into drive and I have to manually exit out of that screen. The left driver side fuse box panel was also missing when I picked it up and they said something about changing a battery. Anyone else have any experience with these issues?

POST 2Original post

On the fuse box cover panel, I would ask the dealer to supply one. I have no experience with the engine hatch indicator. I also can't speak to backup camera operation as I have an after market backup camera on my Cayman. However, in my non-porsche vehicles, the backup camera display automatically disappears and reverts to the previously displayed info once the vehicle transmission is moved out of reverse.

POST 3Original post

Some backup cameras don't turn off until you reach a certain forward speed - I believe my Cayenne is around 5MPH. I think that'd done so the camera will stay on if you're tacking your way into a parking space (forward/backward/repeat..) Same thing with the passenger side mirror drop. BTW - we do have a 911-specific group of forums - which can be found at: Club 911 - General Discussion - I'm moving this and your other 911 specific post from New Member Introductions to the Club 911 - General Discussion forum (link above..)
