Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey Pelicans! I figured out a way around buying the $250 door lock assembly, as Porsche sells it, for the one piece necessary for a common repair. I provide a link below to the kit that I bought, for a Vw Passat! It is $9 delivered next day or $7 if you get the same kit and wait. I did a pretty extensive Google search for different lock assemblies and found one that uses the same exact piece. You only use this one piece out of the new kit. Best part is that it comes from Amazon with free next day shipping. Can you beat that? Cheers and see you on the road!
