Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi got Becker CDR 220 radio. Not certain that it was original. Anyway markings on radio say K845, then I believe this to be serial number Y180161a. Y was not marked but on a similar post I saw that . Any help will be appreciated.

POST 2Original post

Firstly, plug in the radio before completely installing. If the screen says CODE, then you need to get one. If it doesn’t, no worries. I believe from 2005 and up you didn’t need a code. If you need a code, call a dealer, give them the serial number and they should give you two or three common codes for that model radio. Then try each one until you get it. Write it down for the next time you disconnect power and need to input once again.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
