Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My first post: I've got a 991 with the sport design front lip. It looks great but with only 41K miles, it has a lot of paint chips. How easy/expensive to touch up Basalt Black Metalic and will it look good or do I just do a wrap?? It's clear wrapped but after 7 years and some miles it's not helping the front. Suggestions, ideas, experiences - all appreciated.

POST 2Original post

I’d just wrap it... those things just take a pounding

POST 3Original post

This post reply is probably a bit late, but if you haven't fixed that case of road rash yet, our DIY automotive paint chip repair kit could definitely lend a hand to those chips. That kind of paint damage you have is exactly what our kit is designed to fix. It's easy to use and it's a permanent repair... and much cheaper than getting a wrap put on. Bill
