At 102828 miles, the engine was replaced by Porsche Specialist, at the same time the complete clutch assembly (£312.00) was replaced, together with all the belts and hoses within the engine compartment.

Porsche Carrera 2 Cabriolet 911 996 ​ ​ PLEASE READ THE FULL DECRIPTION CAREFULLY TO FULLY APPRECIATE THE CONDITION AND WORK CARRIED OUT ON THIS CAR​ ​ 107560 miles. This will rise, as car still in use​ ​ Date registered 23.06.1999​ ​ 3400cc​ ​ MOT until 29 September 2016​ ​ Winter hard top in matching colour also being provided with the sale, together with the private number plate, which will remain with the car​ ​ Black leather interior in good condition, with to tears in the leather​ ​ Soft top works exactly as it should without fault and is in good condition​ ​ Comprehensive service history, with last service being carried out on 27.01.2016 at 106938 miles. Gearbox oil changed at this service​ ​ Currently has 997 18 inch alloys fitted, with very good tyres. The original 17 inch alloys, with good matching tyres, are available at a separate cost, or instead of the wheels currently fitted​ ​ Body work is in really great condition, as is the paintwork. I have just had fitted a replacement front bumper and rear tailgate, as the previous ones were beginning to show signs of cracking on the bumper and rust on the leading edge of the tailgate. Both units removed are available for inspection, as proof of work done​ ​ Parrot handsfree car kit fitted​ ​ In 2014 the car had various work carried out, which I will detail below:-​ Both front springs replaced​ At 102828 miles, the engine was replaced by Porsche Specialist, at the same time the complete clutch assembly (£312.00) was replaced, together with all the belts and hoses within the engine compartment. The brake system was also overhauled. The exhaust was upgraded to a new Danske Sports box (£746.00).
