Just replaced both my fender liners, easy job, did not remove the bumper (though I did in the past to clean the radiators and condensers�..if you haven�t yet, that�s good advice to do it at the same time).

while removing my front headlights to change bulbs , i noticed that both sides have a marble size hole that goes from headlight housing to wheel arch , right next to side marker.

After many years of duct taking the bottom of my front drivers side fender liner I�m finally going to replace it. The section in the wheel well is fine but the bottom air ducting and rubber strip are shot. Do I need to remove the front bumper or fender to replace the liner? It looks to me like 7 or 8 plastic rivets and a few screws. Thanks in advance.

I've removed my drivers side front liner to service the washer pumps and did not need to remove the bumper.

Is that gap supposed to be there to vent the headlight units ? Car was made in 1998 , first year of production , maybe wheeel liner not designed o totally seal the arch ?
