Apparently some new 09s software needed to be reset to make sure the daytime running lights are on all the time.

F: 235/35-19 and R: 295/30-19. HRE does the offsets in a manner that makes spacers unnecessary.

Just a quick note. I have a 2009 C4S with PDK. Keep an eye on the oil level. While 911s are known for burning oil. The new engine appears to go through oil incredibly fast. I would check the oil often. The dealers are aware of this and while they say it is normal, keep a couple of quarts in the car to be safe. You will probably see a lot of soot develop on the pipes. I also had to have the software reset on my daytime running lights. Apparently some new 09s software needed to be reset to make sure the daytime running lights are on all the time. They look stunning when they are on in the day! You have an amazing car! Congratulations! I like how my new 911 C4S looks next to my Cayman S. Both beautiful cars!

Yes, evidently the DFI cars do use more oil. There seems to be some controversy regarding the break in procedures. Some seem to think that pushing the revs right away rather than slowly working up to the 2000 mile mark is better for the engine. It makes sense to avoid short trips, vary the rpm, and let the engine come to full temp before stepping on the gas, but I'm reluctant to wind out the engine w/o only a couple of hundred miles on the odo. Didn't know about the running lights, thanks!
