Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So - I tried to change to my new alloys today, but had a slight problem. I couldn't loosen the locking wheel nuts. All the others came off quite easily. This was really quite annoying. Will have to get a bigger torque wrench from work! Does anyone know how tight they should be in Nm? Migration info. Legacy thread was 118379

POST 9Original post

Are you using the standard wheel brace? If you've got an old scaffold pole use that for extra leverage. Try a little WD40 to ease it slightly. I think it's 96lbs/ft torque. Migration info. Legacy thread was 118391

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm sure my torque wrench is 120 lbs/ft and it is just spinning round. God knows how far they tightened them. Migration info. Legacy thread was 118392
