Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2007 C4s Cab. So, car was rear ended RR corner. Repair done and started getting above codes, P2187 and 89, lean idle bank 1 and bank 2. While it was at shop, they replaced the battery for some reason. Also the exhaust was removed and replaced and probably the air box. Clear codes and went for a short drive. Codes came back at a hot idle,, cleared again and thought all was well and then.. came back. Went for a drive this am and didn't come back. Still not sure if ecu got used to the new battery or if I have vacuum leak. Any thoughts?

POST 2Original post

P2187 System Too Lean at Idle (Bank 1) P2189 System Too Lean at Idle (Bank 2) Both banks are very lean; looks like an intake system air leak somewhere.
